Five perspectives, one question

Our panel brings together a priest, a philosopher, an educator, a mathematician and a psychiatrist. Each sees AI from a different vantage point – faith, reason, the classroom, the algorithm and the developing mind – and each will be asked the same question: is AI reshaping moral minds, and what should we do about it?

The full line-up will be announced shortly. Registered attendees will be the first to hear.

Who this evening is for

  • Parents and carers wondering what AI companions, homework helpers and chatbots are doing to their children’s thinking
  • Teachers and school leaders deciding how to talk about AI, character and judgement in the classroom
  • Sixth-form and university students who use these tools every day and want to think harder about them
  • Clinicians, clergy and anyone who cares about how the next generation learns to reason about right and wrong

What to expect

  • 6:00pm – Doors open, wine and nibbles, a chance to meet other attendees
  • 6:30pm – Panel debate
  • 7:45pm – Open floor: your questions to the panel, in the room and from online
  • 9:00pm – Close
